Efficient microbial strain detection for epidemiology, quality control and hospital hygiene

MALDI Biotyper and IR Biotyper can be integrated seamlessly on the lab benchtop: MALDI Biotyper identifies microorganisms to species level in minutes, and its data can be imported into the IR Biotyper for further strain discrimination or serogrouping.

IR Biotyper can help improve hospital hygiene and infection control, particularly in understanding the pathogenesis of infection. It also benefits applications in e.g. food industry by offering an easy-to-use method for fast and effective microorganism strain typing.

IR Biotyper Kit includes two bacterial IR test standards (IRTS 1 and IRTS 2) for five runs, and sample preparation vials for 50 isolates.
