Starrsed ST ESR analyser

Manufactured by the Dutch RR Mechatronics, the Starrsed ST ESR analyser automatically determines the erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) directly from an EDTA tube using the Westergren method.

Capped EDTA tubes can be loaded into the Starrsed ST ESR analyser at any time when the system is running and, after sample aspiration, the samples are ready for use in a haematology analyser. All steps following the loading of samples from analysis to the sending of results to the LIS system are automated, allowing employees to focus on other tasks. As roughly 24 ESR results can be completed in 30 minutes and the system only requires little maintenance by users, the analyser is smooth and easy to use in smaller laboratories.
